We are focused on sharing our rich Irish heritage.
In addition to club gatherings, we (SIGH) will be representing Irish culture at the
St. Petersburg International Folk Fair (SPIFFS).
The SIGH Irish Village will feature musicians, storytellers, dancers & singers to entertain at our Village, and on stages throughout the fair.
You can even learn to speak a bit of
Irish-Gaelic. See the many displays, books, games & some Irish artifacts to enjoy on your International Folk Fair journey.
Our Irish Village will have delicious treats
as well as some delightful souvenirs.
ABOUT SPIFFS:
The St. Petersburg International Folk Fair (SPIFFS) has been an annual event going on for 49 years in St. Petersburg.
It is Florida's longest-running festival
of its kind.
Children and chaperones are bused in from several counties in the Tampa Bay area to experience the many cultures and traditions available during this premier event.
You'll find lots of entertainment in the Villages, as well as at stages of cultural entertainment on the grounds.
You will definitely want to try all the
delicious foods from around the world.
Make sure to pick up your "SPIFFS Passport"
at the entry gate and get it stamped as you
travel through the Fair!
Behold the pageantry of the “Parade of Nations” through the park.
