CELEBRATING ROBERT BURNS - THE BARD OF SCOTLAND!
A grand evening it was...
Celebrating Robert Burns!
Thank you to Jacks London Grill for hosting the Suncoast Irish 4th annual ROBERT BURNS NIGHT!
Peter made a delicious haggis and everything on the menu was fantastic, as always!
Let's say thank you to the team that gave us a fine presentation of a traditional Burns Dinner Celebration:
*Kicking off the evening with some rousing tunes by Gary Fuller, Ed Bell, Royce Bell, and Goody.
*We then held the procession of Piping in the Haggis,
led by the wonderful piper Finn Kellam.
*Our presenters for the evening were Danny O'Dell, Gary Fuller,
Sionainn O'Dell, Ed Bell... with the special toasts to the
Lads & Lasses by Jen Shumilak and April Leonard!
*Irish tenor, Danny O'Dell, shared some great music for the evening! We also had a couple more songs by Ed.
*Thank you Tommy Williams and Royce Bell for taking care of the Raffles & donations for the evening.

IRISH VILLAGE PLANNING HAS COMMENCED!
This will be the 5th year of SUNCOAST IRISH & GAELIC HERITAGE presenting the cultural IRISH VILLAGE at the St. Petersburg International Folk Fair Society, Inc. (SPIFFS). (March 4-6, 2027)
OUR REQUEST TO OUR CELTIC FAMILY & FRIENDS:
In keeping with our educational focus, we would like to introduce the ancient art of OGHAM WRITING.
We are asking for a few volunteers that would like to be part of this exciting project at our village. The program will be fairly easy and there are printed guides to follow.

This International Folk Fair reaches out into 5+ counties in the Tampa Bay area.
Thousands of school children, teachers, chaperons & families benefit from this annual event.
We invite you to be a part of our village in this project.
